Deborah Ann Dunn, 56, died Sunday, June 25, at the Gardens of Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., after a long battle with diabetes.Born Oct. 8, 1960, in Barnesville, she was the daughter of the late Billy Sr. and Louise Davis Banks. She was a graduate of Newtown High School, Queens, N.Y., in 1978. Deborah later lived in North Carolina and Virginia before settling in Nanticoke, Pa., in 2010. Deborah had a great love for movies, reading, game shows and collectibles. Even when diabetes robbed her of her sight, she continued to enjoy her hobbies. She had a strong bond with her daughter, Tamara.Preceding her in death are two brothers, Anthony Banks and Billy Banks Jr.Deborah is survived by a daughter, Tamara Dunn, Nanticoke; brothers, Michael Banks and his wife, Hasoni, McDonough; and Eric Banks, Atlanta; nephew and nieces, Jaimell, Jarrelle and Jarrian Banks, Texas; sister-in-law, Vanessa Banks, Texas; former husband, Tim Dunn, Augusta; and many other siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.Visitation was held June 29 at Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, Nanticoke. A homegoing service is was for 1 p.m. Saturday at Indian Springs State Park, Flovilla.
