Deborah Faye Walton

Deborah Faye Walton died Sunday, May 11, 2014. Miss Walton was born Oct. 10, 1964, in Lamar County to Clara Mae Dumas Walton and the late Edward Walton Sr. She joined the Band of Believers and Bethel Baptist Church at an early age. She attended Lamar County schools and graduated in 1983. She worked in the health care industry and had recently become a licensed CNA. Survivors include her mother, Clara Mae Walton; three children and their spouses, Lakethia L. and Spencer Geiger, Shanika S. Sullivan and Bruce Sullivan Jr.; three grandchildren, Za’Vion, Za’Nyah and Zanique Geiger, all of Barnesville; brothers, sisters and a sister-in-law, Edward and Edith Walton Jr., Larry J. Walton and Necole Walton; aunts and uncles, Fred and Christine Oneal, Clemetine and Harvey Morgan, Vivian Oneal and Linda Oneal of Barnesville; friends, Laura Passmore, Lucious Character and Samuel Banks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services were held Friday, May 16, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church on Johnstonville Road. Pastor James C. Marable officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Bentley and Sons Funeral Home of Barnesville had charge of arrangements.
