At approximately 5:21 a.m. this morning deputies with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office responded to 693 Brook Road, Barnesville, Georgia – the residence of a white female Joann Bryan, age 52, and white male Richard Duke, age 66 – in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival Deputies found Ms. Bryan with an apparent gunshot wound to the right abdomen. Ms. Bryan was flown by life flight to Grady Hospital where she is listed in stable condition. Investigators are still working on the case.
