Diamond Trojans add two more wins

The LC Diamond Trojans (7-2) added two more wins to their record for the young season last week.On Wednesday, Lamar routed Crawford County 13-3. Collin Thompson went four innings for LC and got the win. He had four strikeouts. He also had two hits and two RBIs to help his cause. His brother, Caleb Thompson, also drove in two runs.On Thursday, LC edged Monticello 5-4 on a walk-off homer in the bottom of the seventh.Logan Sharpton went six strong innings for LC while Jonah Stout got the win in relief.Jakson Marsh had three hits for LC while Devin Cato drove in two runs.Lamar has three region games with Jordan this week. The Red Jackets are here today for a 5:30 p.m. game. A doubleheader is set for the fields at Carver of Columbus Friday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
