The LC Diamond Trojans (8-4, 1-2) lost two games of a three-game series against region foe Jordan last week. On Tuesday, Jordan belted LC 16-1, mercy ruling the locals after only three innings. LC had only four hits and were tagged with three errors. Collin Thompson and Logan Sharpton pitched for LC in the shellacking. On Friday, the two teams played a doubleheader with LC winning game one 7-6 in eight innings. Drew Stout went the distance on the mound for LC, striking out nine. He and Collin Thompson had two hits each to pace LC. Stout and Sharpton each had two RBIs. In game two, Jordan prevailed 7-0. Jonah Stout was on the mound for LC and struck out seven. His team committed four errors behind him. A three game series with region foe Heard County is on tap this week with a game here tonight at 5:30 p.m. followed by two games in Franklin Friday evening.
