Mrs. Doris Anne Poole Hansard, age 72, of Barnesville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at her residence. She was born April 15,1941 in Marion, N.C., to the late Mr. Joseph Calhoun Poole and the late Mrs. Jeannette Barier Poole. Mrs. Hansard retired from the bakery at Winn-Dixie and was a homemaker. She was a member of Rock Springs Church in Milner. Survivors include two daughters, Alicia Cagle and Angie Carden; one son, Brad Hansard; five grandchildren, Faith (and Tommy) Long, Beau Bratcher, Taylor Carden, Katie Carden and Brittany Hansard; two great-grandchildren, Savannah Long and Isabelle Long; and one sister, Joyce (and Raymond) Patterson. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as other relatives also survive. A memorial service for Mrs. Doris Hansard will be held Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. Interment will be private.
