Mrs. Doris Ray Whitten Clark, age 87, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born Nov. 5,1925 in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Mr. Henry Wyche Whitten Sr. and Mrs. Mary Arabell Ray Whitten. Mrs. Clark was also preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Jack Wright Clark, Ret, USAF. She was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Barnesville. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Marcia Johnston-Clark of Barnesville, and Tim and Debby Clark of Tampa, Fla.; two grandsons, Joshua Adam Clark and Matthew David Clark; and one great-granddaughter, Gail Clark. Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Clark will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Barnesville Presbyterian Church with the Reverends Garth Forster and M.J. Gardner officiating. Interment will be held Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the Cain-Cole Cemetery.
