A local woman, distracted by emergency vehicles responding to a separate incident at Ingles, inadvertently drove through the front of the Crossroads convenience store at the corner of Rose Avenue and Veterans Parkway Tuesday evening, slightly injuring a customer inside the store.Driver Sharon Rogers of Barnesville was distraught that she made the mistake. The customer, Mitch Martin, suffered minor injuries to his extremities. The car took out the entire front of the store, a soft drink vending machine and substantial product displays.No one else was injured.Store owner Victor Patel comforted Rogers and checked on her injuries, noting that his building and stock could be replaced.
