By Kay S. PedrottiWork to demolish the old ‘Dunrovin’ tourist home on Murphy Avenue has been temporarily on hold, generally because of the weather.Barnesville city manager Kenny Roberts said the project contractor is ready to resume but ‘a window of opportunity’ for good weather will be a factor. The contractor will tackle the massive concrete walls using a track hoe with a double bucket that can ‘bite into the walls and pull them down,’ Roberts added.’It’s imperative this project be finished,’ he said. ‘We’re just hoping conditions improve soon.’
