With so many people saying so many different things about the future of America’s economy, why not hear what the experts have to say? The 2011 Economic Forecast Summit is set for March 29 at 7:30 a.m. at Life Springs Church Community Center over breakfast. Dr. Jeffrey Jordan of the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the UGA will speak about the current economy and what he sees for its future. Others will share their view of the economic future, including vice president of community and economic development at Georgia EMC Dennis Chastain, president of United Bank Chris Edwards and president of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Chris Clark. Audience members can ask questions of the panelists following the presentation. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. To register, stop by the chamber office, go to pikecountygachamber.com or call 770-567-2029.
