Edwin D. Vessell, age 66 of Jackson passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his residence.
Ed was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 17, 1955. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Nancy Vessell. Ed was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was a truck driver for AAFES and enjoyed carpentry, painting, gardening, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his best friend, Tripp.
Survivors include his children, Scott Vessell and wife, Sarah, Sheryl Parrish and husband, Gene, Corbett Vessell and wife Waynessa; grandchildren, Gracie Parrish, Faith Parrish, Garrett Parrish, Bailey Vessell, Emma Vessell, Rylee Vessell, Terri Joiner, Dylan Vessell, Tommy Joiner, Lauren Steward, Logan Steward; great grandchild, Tripp Morgan; three sisters, and roommate, Donna Mendez.
Per Mr. Vessell’s request, his immediate family will have their own private gathering.
