Eight-year-old struck by car in Milner

An eight-year-old child was struck by a car and injured Friday on Mathews Road north of Milner.UPDATE: The boy has been released from the hospital and is on the mend.Reports are sketchy and hard to confirm due to the child’s age but initial reports are the boy was riding a bike and hit by a passing vehicle.The boy was transported to Egleston Children’s Hospital. The Georgia State Patrol is working the incident.More to follow…
