Eleven of 12 tested for drugs in court positive

Fed up with defendants being tardy for court, Judge Tommy Wilson began requiring drug tests of every defendant arriving late for court or appearing intoxicated at the courthouse. Eleven of the 12 ordered tested were positive for one or more drugs. Wilson ordered all to jail for 20 days. They may get out after five days if they pay a $500 fine plus the $45 cost of the drug test. Those jailed left the courtroom in handcuffs and leg irons. The defendants jailed were: Ray Anthony Bradley, Anthony Roussaw, Jarred Clay Smith, Christopher Sullivan, Lindsay M. Taylor, Paul Jeffery Linholm, Joseph P. Seaman, Darnell Demarizo Caslin, Taurean Kareen Collier, Jarvis Sentelius Akins and Henry Smith.
