Volunteers hope the Empty Stocking Fund After Hours, set for Dec. 1 at United Bank from 5-7 p.m., will set another annual record and enable more children to receive Christmas gifts from the fund. Empty Stocking provides Christmas toys for children from birth to age 14 whose families have no other resources to fill this need. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Barnesville fire station, United Bank or mailed to P.O. Box 152, Barnesville, 30204. Drop off donated toys at the fire department or call Forsyth at 770-584-6096 to arrange for a pickup.
