Esther Mae Rutherford

Mrs. Esther Mae Rutherford 76, formerly of Barnesville transitioned on Thursday in the Upson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 26, 2022 11 a.m. at the Rocky Mount UMC. Dr. Eddie Collier will be the officiant and interment will be in the Kings Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be held today 5 to 7 p.m. Professional Services has been entrusted to Trice Funeral Home Inc. of Barnesville. 
Mrs. Rutherford leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted husband, Mr. Andrew Rutherford of Thomaston. A daughter, Mrs. Stacy (Charles) Thurmon of Fayetteville, a son, Mr. Amos Johnson of Rex, grandchildren Amos Johnson IV, Ashleigh Thurmon, Martavious Anderson, Charleston Thurmon. Two Sisters Mrs. Bernice (Thomas) Jones, Mrs. Olivia (Sammie Sr.) Shropshire both of Barnesville. One brother, Mr. Judge Collier of Jonesboro. Aunts Mrs. Martha (J.C.) Fletcher of Atlanta, and Mrs. Lucille Ransom of California. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends whom she shared so many memories.
