Opening day at the Barnesville Farmer’s Market is May 1. Farmers will be set up with their wares at a new location, Akins Farm & Home, beginning at 11 a.m. Ribbon cutting ceremonies will be held at 11:30 a.m. The market will open every Thursday through October. It is sponsored by AgSouth Farm Credit.
