Meetings got underway Monday morning to discuss the future of the Buggy Days Festival in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival has been held each September for 46 consecutive years.’Up until this week, everything had been on go. Now I am starting to get some input that we might not have the participation. We have also had some vendors pull out due to their concerns. We are just beginning discussions. I am not saying yes and I am not saying no. We are talking about it,’ Esco said.The financially-strapped chamber of commerce, which already canceled the BBQ & Blues Festival in the spring, sorely needs the revenue Buggy Days brings in.
