The Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested two Forsyth city councilmen and charged them with taking bribes from a service provider.The councilmen are James Edward Calloway, 60, and Desi Hansford, 35.The two men arranged to take bribes totaling $20,000 from a federal ‘cooperator’ who was working undercover.The ‘cooperator’ had a wire in his vehicle and the transactions were recorded. When the last payment was to be made, agents had the area staked out and swooped in.Calloway has been a councilman for 20 years.
