FINAL ELECTION RESULTS:

(Note: These are Lamar County vote totals only.) UPDATE: A review of statewide results late Tuesday indicated Casey Cagle and Brian Kemp would meet in a runoff to determine the Republican challenger to Democrat Stacey Abrams in the gubernatorial race. Incumbent Republican Marty Harbin will meet Democrat Bill Lightle in November in the Dist. 16 state senate race. Incumbent Republican David Knight will serve another term as Dist. 130 state representative after routing challenger Raymond Ray. There is no Democrat in this race. And newcomer Ken Pullin rolled past incumbent Johnnie Caldwell to win the Republican nomination for the Dist. 131 house seat. He will face Democrat Chris Benton in November. Caldwell lost by nearly 1000 votes in his home county of Upson.
