FINAL ELECTION RESULTS: ADAMS HAS WON RACE FOR DA

THESE ARE FINAL RESULTS FOR LAMAR COUNTY District Attorney (Lamar County): Adams: 957 Milam: 344 District Attorney (Circuitwide) FINAL: UPDATE 2: AT 11:10 P.M., MULTIPLE REPORTS INDICATED MILAM HAD CONCEDED THE RACE TO ADAMS THOUGH THE SECRETARY OF STATE’S WEBSITE HAD NOT CONFIRMED FINAL NUMBERS. Milam was up by about 1000 votes in his home county of Butts but lost Lamar and Monroe. UPDATE: Adams carried Lamar 957-344. At 10:30 p.m., Adams led in Monroe County 2200-1377 with one precinct and absentee ballots not counted.
