Scott Votaw, director of the schools Fine Arts Center, has tendered his resignation as of Aug. 29. Plans are to operate the theater without a director. He applied for a teaching job here, did not get it and is now working as a film and video production teacher at Griffin High School.’There will be no director,’ said superintendent Dr. Bill Truby at the Aug. 9 school board meeting. ‘All the buildings have one person in charge of FAC events, plus there’s the technology, athletic and custodial staff all working together to approve the use forms that come in. We’re going to streamline the operations.’
