The new, $6 million Lamar County Schools Fine Arts Center rang with the sound of music for the first time Sunday during dedication ceremonies at which local officials voiced their pride in the facility. ”It is the crown jewel for our school system and Lamar County,” said superintendent Dr. Bill Truby.
