Ten-year-old Anna Hambrick died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. UPDATE: Hailey Power showing some improvement. Hambrick suffered severe smoke inhalation while trapped in a fire at her family’s mobile home at 1927 Hwy. 36 E Sunday morning. Funeral arrangements are pending. Donations are needed to cover funeral costs and a fund has been set up for that purpose at United Bank. Nearly $3000 is needed for burial costs alone plus another $2000 for a casket. The Barnesville Rotary Club raised $800 at its noon meeting Tuesday with more promised.Donations of food and clothing are also needed. Food can be dropped off at the home of Nancy and Jerome Thrash at 416 Eady Creek Rd. Clothing and other household items are being collected at the First Church of the Nazarene.Funeral arrangements and visitation have been finalized. UPDATE: Hailey Power is showing some slight improvement. Her oxygen levels are up marginally and the swelling on her brain has gone down slightly. Her neurology team says she seems to be improving but is still critical.
