After all, she managed the feat by coming into this world 16 days before she was due. Born at 1:12 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, Sadie is the daughter of Cory and Margaret Allen McCook. She weighed a healthy 7 pounds, 10 ounces and 21 inches long. ”I thought she would come early because the others did,” said her mother. “We actually kidded around about being in the hospital on New Year’s Eve, but that came and went. Monday morning I woke up with contractions.” ”It’s good that she’s the first baby of the year,” said her older sister Katelyn, 8. Sadie also joins a brother, Allen, 5. Both attend Lamar County Primary School.
