The Lamar County Health Department has received its first shipment of H1N1 “swine” flu vaccines in mist form. The immunizations were at first designated for healthy children between the ages of 2-4 and their caregivers. Now that has been expanded to cover all children and young adults up to age 24, health care providers, emergency responders and the contacts or caregivers of infants less than 6 months old.
