Fleet Trojans take state 4×100 title

Green Lamar County’s 4×100 relay team won the GHSA Class AA 4x100m relay championship at the Georgia Olympics at Memorial Stadium in Jefferson Saturday.Lamar’s Antwan Wallace, Lawrence Austin, Lance Austin and Brandon Higdon finished with a state best time of 42.26 seconds edging out Region 4AA foe Putnam County by .14 for the gold.The Trojan 4×400 team took seventh at the state meet.
