Former LCCHS principal Tyrone Bacon, now principal at troubled Southwest High School in Macon, reported Monday he had been ‘let go’ by Bibb school superintendent Sharon Patterson. Bibb schools are under intense scrutiny on several fronts. One principal was charged with having an affair with a subordinate. Another allegedly choked a student. Southwest is predominantly a free and reduced price school lunch school noted most for poor academic performance.
