Former municipal judge faces probation revocation

Former Barnesville municipal judge Henry Abreu will be back in court here May 14 as his probation officer seeks to have him locked up for violating sanctions of his probated sentence. Abreu was sentenced to five years probation in 2006 after being arrested in a sting operation. In December 2008 he was charged with misdemeanor counts of stalking and solicitation of sodomy. His probation officer, Charles Clark, alleges the December charges amount to a probation violation. Abreu’s case will be among many heard before Judge Tommy Wilson that day.
