Griffin police have made four arrests in connection with a murder. On 9/2/2013 at 12:48 a.m. Griffin officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 226 Kentucky Ave. Upon their arrival uniform officers discovered 23 year old Darrius Shaw suffering from a gunshot wound. Shaw was pronounced dead and his body has been transported to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy. Shaw’s last known address was 301 East Chappell Street. A total of four suspects have been arrested related to the shooting and are in custody at the Spalding County Jail. The names and charges will be released later.
