Frances Lavonia Smith Lasseter

Mrs. Frances Lavonia Smith Lasseter, age 87, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Frances was born on Thursday, April 2, 1935, to the late Talmer Britton Smith, and the late Annie Lou Touchton Smith. She was preceeded in death by her parents and brothers Douglas Smith, Richard Smith, and Junior Smith. Mrs. Lasseter was a devout Christian, she was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was employed at both William Carter Company and Millenwood for many years. Frances loved to cook, and always made sure everyone had a meal. She was a member of the 1st Pentecostal Church at the Rock as well as the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Barnesville. She also attended The Lighthouse Church of Barnesville.

Frances is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Franklin Eugene Lasseter; children and their spouses, Debra & Louis Cone, Rick Lasseter, Brian & Tanya Lasseter; grandchildren and their spouses, Samantha & Mike Fournier, Heather & Derek Jones, Rebecca & Shane Jones, James B. Lasseter; 11 great-grandchildren; nephews, David Smith, and Alan Smith.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Lasseter will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Noon in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bobby Callaway and Reverend Leroy Brock 0officiating. Interment will follow the service in Lamar Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until 12 Noon at the funeral home.
