A fundraiser will be held this Saturday, Dec. 12, to help raise funds to replace Jimi, the Griffin K-9 police officer who was shot and killed last month.Michelle Loyd and her fellow organizers Amanda Rose and Scott Rhodes have set up a day’s worth of entertainment at Griffin City Park, Pavilion 2. Coffee and doughnuts will be sold and items will be raffled off.DJ Steve Harless will play party tunes from 11 a.m. until 12 noon and local cloggers will perform from 10-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.The lunch hours will be dedicated to the raffle. There are goods and services, ranging from $100 gift certificates and monthly memberships in martial arts classes or gym to a skate party and a large wall portrait.T-shirts will also be on sale. They are also available at Step-Ins in Griffin.
