Family and friends will gather to mourn murder victim Patricia Pitts this week. A bank fund has been established for the benefit of her four children and to pay funeral expenses. Pitts, 43, was fatally shot in the face by former boyfriend Roger Goolsby outside her Concord home Saturday, May 9. She died instantly. Her body was found by her daughters. Goolsby, 46, then committed suicide at his nearby home, according to sheriff’s investigators. The viewing for Pitts will be Wednesday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville. Her funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, also at the funeral home. The Pitts family has established the Patricia Pitts Memorial Fund at Bank of America. Deposits can be made to the memorial fund by going to any Bank of America location.
