Fury atop division after win

The Fury FC U14 girls moved to the top of the division standings after a 5-0 win over the Gwinnett Soccer Association White squad Sunday at the Pike Soccer Complex. The Fury had a Saturday game at Concorde Fire rained out. Livia Lanier Geiger had two goals in Sunday’s win to pace the Fury. Shelbie Bohensky, Emily Ogletree and Caylin Cornelius had one goal apiece. Ogletree also had an assist as did Dakota Housman. Brooke Shavers had two saves in the net for the Fury. The Fury, a select squad composed of players from Pike, Lamar, Upson and Spalding counties, are Bohensky, Ogletree, Shavers, Housman, Cornelius, Geiger, Bailie Garland, Riley Fuller, Bean Butler, Hailey Hadsell, Jodi Hearn, Whitney Hancock, Paige Wood, Emily Natale, Alex Chapman and Jessi Chapman.
