They led 22-13 after one, 39-17 at the half and 57-29 after three periods of play.Guard Brandon Malcolm had his way with the Trojans, scoring 25 points. Spartan post player Trent Wiedeman added 21 as he dominated inside.Camden Foster was the only Trojan in double figures with 12 points.Other Lamar scorers were Jadarius McCalla (8), Rodnique Brown (6), Damian Battle (4), Kendrick Cheeves (3) and Adrian Butler, Lekevious Lyons and Johnathan Harden with two apiece. The loss ended a late season run by the Trojans who started slow but ended up entering the state tourney more highly seeded than any team in school history in their first year under coach Gregory Freeman.
