Gail Magaline White Hair, age 69, of Jackson passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 in a Macon healthcare facility. Mrs. Hair was born in Spalding County and had lived in Barnesville nearly all of her life. Daughter of the late Mr. Marien Oscar White and the late Mrs. Thelma Aleene Harmon White, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Perry White and Junior White; and by four sisters, Catherin Bruce, Rita Blackmon, Carol Stokes and Sheila Cato. Mrs. Hair had worked with the William Carter Company, as well as Sunshine Cleaners in Barnesville and Reeves Cleaners in Griffin. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Ernie Hair of Jackson; her daughter, Cindy Clark (and Kevin) of Thomaston; her granddaughter, Brittany Michelle Clark of Newnan; her brother, Gary White (and Peggy) of Barnesville; her ‘sister,’ Josie Rooks of Barnesville; numerous step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Gail White Hair will be conducted Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Franklin Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
