The 18th annual Barnesville Game and Fish Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 30, in the gym of First Baptist Church in Barnesville. The evening begins with free seminars at 6 p.m. and the banquet begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. Special speaker for this event is Pete Wall, an ordained minister and evangelist from Sylvania and an avid outdoorsman. He is much in demand as an inspirational and motivational speaker. This year First Baptist will again be supplying all the meats, which will include barbecue pork, smoked deer hams and fried fish. Over 75 door prizes will be given away, including a grand prize.
