Unless you really like crowds, make a mental note to avoid the Georgia National Fair in Perry on its last day when $15 will buy a wristband allowing free access to all the midway rides. I made this mistake Sunday. As we drew near the fairgrounds, traffic on I-75 stopped completely. The place was packed. Parking was handled as efficiently as possible by some very harried looking state troopers but I braced myself for a long afternoon.
