Ghost Out scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday

Lamar County High School students will see first hand the possible effects of drinking and driving during a simulated wreck with a real-time emergency response. The demonstration is being held right before the April 2 prom and will take place in the field across from the high school. Students will gather around 9 a.m. and the scene of a simulated DUI wreck will be revealed – usually included two totaled vehicles and several ‘injured’ students and other DUI victims. For photos of the Ghost Out, check out the April 5 edition of The Herald Gazette.
