The Barnesville Rotary Club and Women’s League are hosting a blood drive on Thursday, March 13, from 1-6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. Additional Red Cross staff and screening stations mean no waiting for donors and home made cookies will be waiting in the canteen. Call the church office at 770-358-1494 to make an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome. There are no other sources of blood for surgery, cancer recovery or treatment of some diseases. Saving lives depends on donors. Donors get a free t-shirt.
