The Gordon Highlanders swept the Middle Georgia Warriors, winning both games of a playoff doubleheader Saturday in Cochran. The wins gave Gordon its first ever GJCAA baseball title. Gordon routed the Warriors 23-8 in game one and cruised to a 13-2 win in the nightcap. The Highlanders advance to the NJCAA regionals and will host Chattanooga State in a best of three series beginning Friday in Barnesville. Gordon swept the Tigers here during the regular season. The winner of the regional matchup here will advance to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado.
