Gordon College relief pitcher Tyler Brown picked up the win against Chattanooga State 6-2 Tuesday. Lance Pope was 2-3 with a home run and a 2B. In the second game of the double header, Gordon scored 2 to Chattanooga State’s 2. Keith Manley went 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win in relief. Jim Moreland was 2-4 with a pair of 1B. Luke Walls singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 7th. The wins take the Highlanders to 21-14 for the season and 5-3 in conference play. They next meet with Middle Georgia College for a three game stand Friday at 5 p.m. Saturday’s double header starts at 3 p.m., weather permitting.
