The March term Lamar County grand jury adjourned early last week after hearing only a few of the multiple cases on its docket. The district attorney’s office was behind on presentation preparation due to the recent murder trial of Lakievius Eleby, according to clerk of court Frank Abbott. The grand jury will reconvene on April 16. Among the cases before it are those of alleged child molesters Joshua Paul Crowe, John Parrott and Scott Anthony Davis and alleged drug dealers Tony Jerome Akins, Timmy Jerome Alford, Dyran Sentell Banks, Jeffery Max Beach, Damien Kimron Carter, Reginald Foster, Jean-Paul Giroux, Allen Leonard Gonzalez, Daniel Krost, Adarius Demond Lyons, Jonathan Kelly McBride, Carmella Carol Parker, Miguel A. Quinones, Jonah Jerome Riley, Cassandra Hope Jordan (aka Lacy Breanna Smith), Christopher N. Steiner, Carlos Albert Valdes, Dulce Maria Valdes and Christopher L. Walker. Also on the docket is the case of Bradley Stout who is charged with computer exploitation of children and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
