Volunteers from across the community will come together Saturday to attack multiple projects in the second annual Great Day of Service. Projects range from painting at the Depot to installing the former McDonald’s playground equipment at the activity center. Additionally, volunteers will be running a can drive to collect canned goods for the Hope Tree food bank. Volunteers will go door-to-door or canned goods can be dropped off at First United Methodist Church or the activity center. The day begins with breakfast at FUMC and ends with lunch at the center.
