The legal battle between Lamar County and Greenco Environmental continues to rage in Lamar superior court with both sides filing additional motions last week. A hearing on the matter is tentatively set for April 22 at 9 a.m. before Judge Tommy Wilson. Greenco argues that the industrial park where it is located is home to other industries which are noisy and an odor-producing landfill but the composting facility is the only firm cited for nuisance violations.
