With the fate of its continued operation possibly hanging on a magistrate court hearing set for February 25, officials from Greenco Environmental will take their case to the public next Monday. Tim and Melia Lesko, principals of the troubled composting operation, will host a public forum at 6:30 p.m. February 22 at the Barnesville Civic Center. Greenco operates from a large site on Roger Brown Drive in the local industrial park. Neighbors in the area have complained about the stench emanating from rotting produce used in the composting process since shortly after it opened last year.
