CBS News is reporting that Griffin is the only city in Georgia on an ISIS ‘hit list’ where extra security measures are expected to be put in place. While this story is continuing to evolve, the list of cities was apparently derived from the ISIS hit list of 100 service members that was released via social media several days ago. Apparently, at least on service member on that list lives in or has connections to Griffin. The hit list was taken off Facebook at the request of the federal government but not until officials were aksed about it by reporters. More to follow…
