Thanks to community involvement and word-of-mouth the Barnesville Police Department has apprehended two juveniles in the vandalism reports described below. According to Detective Al Moltrum of the BPD all victims will be contacted. ———————————– A vandal or vandals damaged Christmas decorations and did other minor damage at 15-16 Barnesville homes Monday night. The vandals – thought by investigators to be young people – tore down wreathes and other decorations, broke planters and generally made nuisances of themselves, according to city manager Kenny Roberts. The attacks took place along Thomaston and Greenwood streets and Stafford Avenue. If your home suffered damage, call police at 770.358.1244. The investigation continues.
