Ground broken for Gordon NAH building

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held on the Gordon College campus Friday morning for the new $16 million Nursing & Allied Health building. GC president Dr. Larry Weill welcomed the crowd. Rep. John Yates, a longtime Gordon supporter in the state legislature, delivered the keynote address and joined Weill and nursing division chair Joan Cranford in hoisting the ceremonial golden shovels. About 75 people were on hand to witness the groundbreaking. The building is expected to open in the fall of 2010.
