Georgia State Patrol post 44 in Forsyth investigated 10 traffic crashes during August in Lamar County. The accidents resulted in five injuries and three deaths. Troopers issued 38 citations in Lamar during the month including one DUI, 24 speeding and five seat belt violations. They issued 35 warnings.
