Ms. Hazel Lee Walker of Barnesville transitioned on Sunday May 29 in the Spalding Wellstar Hospital. Memorial Services were held on Saturday June 4 at Summer’s Park. Brother Jerry Duff officiated the service. Trice Funeral Home Inc. of Barnesville was in charge of all professional services.
She leaves a legacy that will live on in the hearts of her children, Mrs. Hazel (Frank) Henderson of Barnesville, Mr. Marvin (Dana) Walker of Alabama, Mr. Lakevious (Cheri) Walker of Colorado, Mrs. Harriet (Benjamin) Ofuasia of Barnesville, Mr. Malcom Jones of Barnesville, Mrs. Linda (Timi) Rosanwo of Barnesville, Mr. Telly (Tressa) Walker of Fayetteville; adopted daughters, Mrs. Gladys (Richard) Agbedor of Barnesville and Mrs. Margaret (Wayne) Gray of Thomaston; 19 grandchildren, Kowanna Hamm, Eric Hamm, Semika Hamm (Lafayette King) Dexteria Walker, Kerria’Yonna Walker, Tawnia Price, Zekevious Price, Ariona Walker, Rawlings Agbedor all of Barnesville, Talilah Hamm of Griffin, Miriam Walker and Marvin Walker Jr., Aniyah Walker of Fayetteville, Jalessa Price Anshuntaye Smith and Brandon Price of Thomaston, and Zaion O’Neal of Atlanta. 25 great-grandchildren an 10 great-great grandchildren also survive. One brother Mr. Charles Walker of Forsyth, two sisters-in-law, Ms. Addie Walker of Barnesville and Ms. Evelyn Walker of Forsyth; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many devoted friends whom she left with all of her love.
